A hand-tightening star knob that captures a standard M2-M4 hex nut inside the grip - no tools, nothing glued in. Choose 4-7 finger lobes, 16-60 mm diameter, and an optional base flange for a cleaner seat.
A star knob for hand-tightening a bolt without tools. A standard hex nut (or bolt head) seats in a pocket hidden inside the grip, near the top - captured, not glued in - with a through-bore for the bolt shank running up from the base, exactly like a bed-leveling thumbscrew. Choose the number of finger lobes (4–7), outer diameter, height, and an optional flared base flange for a cleaner seat against the workpiece. Prints base face down, no supports required.

Designed for FDM and exported at nominal size. Choosing a material changes the slicer advice we show - never the part's dimensions - so keep shrinkage compensation in your slicer's filament profile, where it's measured per spool. Clearance fits come from measured fastener and hardware tables. Snap and lipped parts assume a 0.4 mm nozzle; print 3+ perimeters for strength.
